Need this reminder every day. No matter how bad a situation gets, how hopeless it seems, or how impossible you think it would be to find a way out of, God has the power to change it for the better at any moment. A lot of times we choose to think about the past. We say “Well it’s too late now because I’ve done this”, “I miss how things used to be.” or “It will never be the same.” How crazy is it that we say He could never make things even better than they were before when God made in the first place what we now miss??? Don’t focus on what you had, but what He’s going to give you that’s even better. When we focus on the past, the enemy can trip us up because we’re not looking to God for direction. We’re chasing after things that no longer exist when God has things that are even better waiting for us if we would just let go of the past and look to Him! If He can make one good thing that we see as impossible to get back because it was so great, He can make another even better than before. Don’t get stuck on the past. He has better for you, but you can’t hold on to new blessings that are ahead when you’re busy chasing the past that’s behind you. (Taken with instagram)
